Speed Reading

So as to increase the rate of learning of your child, a very giant factor to the success of that's to teach them the correct way to speed read.

Although "speed reading" sounds rather like something that's so complicated or difficult, you can really help your child find out about it in 1 or 2 simple steps.

When you child is starting with speed reading, the very first thing you need to do is to do your research. Target methods about speed reading that is perfect for your child's age or reading comprehension.

But if you do not have time to do your own research, here are some established ways to increase a child's reading speed and his learning speed in general. My favorite techniques is to use a "guide" when I am reading.

When I say use a "guide" this just suggests that you must point to the words that you are using. When you block out other lines or words, you will be more centered and you wouldn't be tempted to return to the prior line or words. This increases focus and concentration.

Listening to Music

Regardless of whether or not your youngster is an auditory learner, listening to music can really help them increase their learning speed.

Music can sharpen a child's memory and concentrations. Up to date findings show that when your brain is stimulated by certain beats or sounds, the absorption of memory will be simpler. If you'll use music for your youngster's learning, it's best to stick with baroque music or any song by Mozart.
